Ben is company owner of Ben’s Restaurant in Bury St Edmunds, which he launched in 2014 after leaving university and working in hospitality. He opened the restaurant with the aim of serving traditional British dishes sourced with local produce including hand-reared pork from their farm.
Ben says he loves being able to talk to people about the importance of using local and seasonal produce and knowing where your food comes from.
Opening the restaurant has been Ben’s greatest achievement and with the focus on locally-sourced produce, the business encapsulates all of his ambitions and beliefs.
His passion has really driven the business to where it is today and Ben says that he wouldn’t move anywhere else in the world and loves being based in Bury.
