Ryan started Windsor Properties in 2007 when he was just 18, after spotting a gap in the property market. He ran the business whilst studying IT and Software Development at West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds.
Now, he sets the strategic direction of the company, helping the business to grow and says he loves the change the business and getting a new home can make to people’s lives. He says, “having somewhere to live is a priority for many and when I provide that house and my tenants turn it into a home, it really does fill me with pride.”
He also joined the World Economic Forums Global Shaper Community Cambridge Hub, alongside passionate, intelligent and brilliant young leaders. His ambitions were clear from a young age and with his grandad’s words of “you should live to work, not work to live” alongside Ryan’s relentless drive, he and the business have become a success.
When asked where in the world he would love to work he said, “With my main passion being property, coaching and mentoring this has allowed me to work internationally but I would always want to return to Cambridge, Suffolk and Norfolk as I truly feel at home here and believe there is still a lot more work to be done regarding improving people’s lives.”
If he could have one band on in the office, he would choose The Smiths, saying their music is very relaxing and very poetic.
